Artwork Requirements

 1- Acceptable Software Application files (up to version)

 

• Adobe Photoshop CS2 (.PSD)
• Adobe Illustrator CS2 (.AI)
• Corel Draw 12 (.CDR)


 Please include all fonts if text is not converted to curves.
 * Microsoft Word & Publisher files will not be accepted as finished artwork unless submitted as a PDF ( problems can occur when using microsoft as end design).

 

 2- Other Acceptable File Formats

 

• TIFF, EPS, JPEG, PDF, (300 - 600 dpi recommended)
• Please specify if it’s a PC or Mac version

 

 3- Sizing Requirements

 

• At least 2mm bleed around edge
• 2mm safe area inside from edge (recommended 5mm)
• I Creating into pdf. All artwork should be to size.

 

 4- Artwork Reminders

 

• Convert all fonts (type) to curves whenever possible, otherwise, include both screen and printer fonts.
• Be sure to also include any fonts used in placed EPS files.
• Artwork should be delivered in CMYK colour.
• Preparing artwork in RGB mode is not recommended, as colour matching is problematic.
• For best quality, all pixel-based art should be prepared at a minimum of 300 dpi.
• 1-bit images should be prepared at a minimum of 600 dpi, 1200 dpi recommended.
• We prefer 300-600 dpi, CMYK, flattened Ai. Files or curved PDF files.
